I am Mubin Shaikh, a Facebook Ads freelancer in Dubai. Facebook advertising is paid promotion across the Facebook platform, from feed and Stories to Marketplace and Messenger, run as a proper funnel that turns strangers into leads and buyers rather than just collecting likes. I run it for businesses across Dubai under UAE Trade Licence No. 1618922 and Social Media Advertiser Permit No. 475238. If you have boosted a few posts and wondered why nothing came of it, this page is for you. Boosting is not advertising, and the gap between the two is where most budgets disappear.
Looking for Instagram too? See my Meta Ads service.
Facebook and Instagram both sit inside Meta, and they share the same ad system, the same Pixel and often the same campaigns. This page focuses on Facebook specifically, but in practice I usually run the two together because the audiences and data overlap. If you want the full picture across both platforms, my Meta Ads service covers it. If Facebook is where your customers actually are, which is true for plenty of Dubai sectors, this is the right place to start.
Most people running Facebook ads in Dubai cannot show you a trade licence or a permit to advertise. I hold both, so you get proper invoices, a real contract, and no account risk landing on you.
I am also Meta Ads certified, which covers Facebook, so the platform mechanics are not something I am figuring out on your budget.
Boosting and proper Facebook advertising are not the same thing, and the difference is exactly why boosted posts disappoint. When you hit boost, Facebook optimises for cheap engagement, likes and comments, because that is the easy win. It does not build a funnel, it does not optimise for leads or sales, and it gives you almost no control over targeting. Real Facebook advertising runs through Ads Manager with the right objective, layered audiences, the Pixel firing properly and creative built to convert. Same platform, completely different outcome.
It is the full account: audit, strategy, funnel build, creative testing, Pixel tracking and reporting, focused on Facebook. Here is what each part looks like.
I review your existing Facebook campaigns and find the waste: wrong objectives, overlapping audiences, ad sets quietly dragging the account down. Most accounts have recoverable budget before spending more.
Cold audiences, warm retargeting and lookalikes built around how people in Dubai actually buy on Facebook. Targeting is where most of the result comes from, and where most boosted posts get it wrong.
Static images, video and carousels designed to stop the scroll on Facebook specifically, tested against each other so you always know what is working before you scale it.
Awareness, consideration and conversion stages, not a single layer. The funnel is what keeps cost per lead down as you scale, and it is the part boosting skips entirely.
Proper event tracking through the Pixel and the Conversions API so every lead and sale is attributed accurately. Without it you are flying blind, especially since iOS privacy changes.
Cost per lead, ROAS and what we are doing next. No vanity metrics, no jargon you have to decode.
Facebook still has huge reach in Dubai across a wide age range, which makes it strong for these businesses in particular.
Clinics, salons, restaurants, home services and retail running lead and footfall campaigns. Facebook's local targeting is well suited to a business serving specific Dubai neighbourhoods.
Property developers and agents generating buyer and tenant leads. Facebook's form ads and detailed targeting work well for Dubai property when lead quality is managed properly.
Catalogue, product and retargeting campaigns focused on ROAS, usually run across Facebook and Instagram together.
Lead generation for consultancies, services and B2B offers. Facebook works for B2B in Dubai when the objective and audience are set correctly.
Most underperforming Facebook accounts in Dubai share the same handful of issues. This is what I check first.
| The problem | Why it is costing you |
|---|---|
| Boosting instead of using Ads Manager | Optimised for likes, not leads or sales |
| Wrong campaign objective | Facebook chases the wrong action entirely |
| Pixel or Conversions API missing | No accurate tracking, no real optimisation |
| Overlapping audiences | Your own ad sets bid against each other |
| One funnel layer, no retargeting | Cost per lead climbs and then plateaus |
| Tired creative nobody refreshes | Frequency rises, results fall |
For most Dubai businesses I recommend at least AED 10,000 to AED 12,000 a month in actual ad spend, and closer to USD 5,000 a month for ecommerce. Below that there is not enough data to test audiences and creative and reach a stable result, and I would rather tell you that than take a retainer I cannot move. That figure is ad spend, paid to Meta directly, separate from my management fee.
The first 90 days follow the same shape. The order is deliberate.
I review your Facebook campaigns, tracking, audiences and creative to find what is wasting money and what is worth keeping.
The Pixel and Conversions API go in first, then the funnel, audiences and creative testing, built around your business.
The first 30 to 60 days are about finding winning audiences and creative. Test broadly, cut losers fast, scale winners.
Once there are clear winners I scale them at a pace the account can handle, without breaking what works or burning out the creative.
It depends on your offer, your margins, your creative and your tracking. The patterns I see most often, as patterns and not promises:
Your ad spend is separate, stays in your own account, and is billed by Meta directly. I do not take a percentage of spend.
Facebook Ads management starts at AED 4,999 a month for a single channel with a focused scope. Most clients running Facebook and Instagram together, or Facebook plus another channel, sit on Gold at AED 7,499. Your ad spend is separate, stays in your own account, and is billed by Meta directly. I do not take a percentage of spend, so there is no reason for me to push your budget higher than it should be.
Links go live only when each page is published — no broken or empty links in the meantime.
If your Facebook ads are running and the leads are not coming, message me on WhatsApp. Tell me what you sell and what you are spending, and I will review the account and tell you straight where it is leaking, whether or not you hire me. If boosting is all that has been happening, I will show you what proper campaigns would look like instead.
