Food, hospitality and events marketing in Dubai that drives footfall, bookings, orders and enquiries

Food, hospitality and events marketing in Dubai is the practice of promoting restaurants, cloud kitchens, hotels, catering, events and travel businesses through channels like Google Business Profile, Instagram and Meta Ads, Google Ads, delivery platforms, booking websites and SEO, so that customers visit, book, order and enquire. I am Mubin Shaikh, a trade-licensed digital marketing freelancer in Dubai, and I run food, hospitality and events marketing under UAE Trade Licence No. 1618922 and Social Media Advertiser Permit No. 475238. I work across Dubai consumer and hospitality sectors, so this is a space I know directly.

Dubai is one of the world's most competitive food, hospitality and events markets, with enormous choice and customers who decide largely online. Diners search for somewhere nearby and check reviews and photos, delivery customers choose on how the food looks, hotel guests compare and book, and people planning events browse portfolios and enquire with the businesses whose work moves them. Across all of it, the businesses that win dominate local search or their delivery platforms, show strong visual content, earn good reviews, and turn attention into real outcomes, footfall, bookings, orders and enquiries, timed around the seasons and occasions that drive demand.

This page explains how food, hospitality and events marketing works in Dubai, the channels and principles that apply across the sector, and the specific business types I run marketing for, each with its own dedicated page.

The Full Picture

What food, hospitality and events marketing in Dubai actually involves

Across food, hospitality and events, the marketing is built around real outcomes. Google Business Profile and local search win nearby diners and guests, Instagram and Meta content and ads build appetite and desire, delivery platform optimisation drives orders for kitchens, direct booking websites drive bookings for hotels, and lead generation with fast follow-up wins enquiries for catering, events and travel. Underneath sits accurate tracking, so every outcome is tied to the channel that produced it.

While each business type has its own model, footfall, orders, bookings or enquiries, the underlying approach is consistent: get found or seen at the right moment, show appetising or beautiful content, earn trust through reviews and reputation, and convert attention into measurable results, timed to the seasons and occasions that matter.

Not Vanity Metrics

Real outcomes, not vanity metrics

The defining feature of food, hospitality and events marketing is that success is measured in real outcomes: diners through the door, orders delivered, rooms booked, enquiries won. Likes and impressions do not fill tables, kitchens or hotels. That is why the work centres on footfall, bookings, orders and enquiries, and their cost, rather than vanity metrics, so the business can see what is genuinely bringing customers.

This discipline is what separates hospitality marketing that grows a business from marketing that just looks busy. A clear view of what drives real customers, and honest optimisation toward it, is how a food, hospitality or events business grows.

One Sector, Many Models

How the food, hospitality and events cluster fits together

Food, hospitality and events businesses in Dubai span a wide range, each with its own model and best channels, but all sharing the focus on real outcomes described above. Below, each specific business type links to a dedicated page explaining how its marketing works in detail, from restaurants and cloud kitchens through to hotels, catering, events and travel.

Whether you run a restaurant, a delivery kitchen, a hotel, a catering, events or travel business, there is a page built specifically for your sector, and the same accountable, trade-licensed freelancer behind all of them.

How It Works Across The Sector

Local visibility, delivery, bookings and reputation

Food, hospitality and events businesses reach customers differently, and the marketing has to match the model, the visuals, and the seasons that drive demand.

Local visibility, delivery and bookings

Food, hospitality and events businesses reach customers in different ways, and the marketing has to match. Venues, restaurants, cafes, salons of hospitality, live and die on local visibility: Google Business Profile, local search, reviews and appetising content. Delivery-only kitchens live on their delivery platforms and local delivery-radius ads. Hotels and travel depend on booking journeys, a direct booking website, metasearch and remarketing.

Catering, events and gifting are enquiry-and-quote businesses where a beautiful portfolio and fast follow-up win bookings. Whatever the model, the strategy is tuned to how the business actually earns, and many businesses blend approaches, dine-in plus delivery, direct plus platform.

Visual content and reputation win customers

Food, hospitality and events are intensely visual and reputation-driven. Diners, guests and clients choose largely on how the food, venue or work looks, and on reviews and ratings. Strong, appetising or beautiful visual content, on Instagram, delivery platforms, booking sites and portfolios, creates the desire that draws customers, while genuine reviews and a strong reputation provide the reassurance that converts them.

Building and managing reviews and a strong visual presence is therefore central across the sector, directly affecting how many customers a business attracts, rather than being an afterthought.

Seasonality and occasions

Food, hospitality and events demand shifts strongly with seasons, holidays, events and occasions. Restaurants have busier and quieter periods, hotels and travel are highly seasonal, and catering, weddings and gifting cluster around occasions through the year. Effective marketing works with this, timing and intensifying campaigns around peak periods and occasions, while maintaining presence in quieter times to keep customers coming.

Planning around seasonality, and being ready to scale up when demand rises, is part of running food, hospitality and events marketing well and getting the most from the budget.

Why Work With Me

Why work with Ads with Mubin

I am an independent, trade-licensed digital marketing freelancer, not a large agency. I run your food, hospitality or events business's marketing directly, one accountable person who understands local dining, delivery, bookings and enquiry-driven hospitality. You are not handed to a junior, and your budget is not lost to agency overhead.

I run local search, Google Business Profile, visual social, delivery and lead-focused campaigns across Dubai consumer sectors, so I understand what actually brings customers across the whole food, hospitality and events space. I keep a short client list so your business gets genuine attention, and I never take a percentage of your ad spend.

The Working Relationship

How we work together

01

Free review

We start with a free review of your business, your online presence and where customers are or are not coming from.

02

Tracking first

I set up or fix tracking and your key profiles first, so footfall, orders, bookings and enquiries are measured from day one.

03

Agree the channels

We agree the channels and offers that fit your business and budget, then I build and launch campaigns.

04

Clear reporting

You get clear reporting on footfall, orders, bookings and enquiries, plus direct access to me on WhatsApp.

05

Continuous optimisation

We optimise continuously, improving content and reputation, timing around seasons, and moving budget toward what works.

Honest Expectations

What results to realistically expect

No honest marketer guarantees a number of customers or bookings, because results depend on your offering, location, pricing and market. What I commit to is proper setup, honest optimisation toward footfall, bookings, orders and enquiries, and transparent reporting. Local and delivery marketing often show results within the first few weeks, while direct bookings, SEO and reputation build over the following months, and demand shifts with seasons, events and occasions.

The realistic path is a steady increase in real customers across whichever channels fit your business, a stronger presence and reputation, and a marketing setup you can trust, timed to the seasons that matter.

Pricing

Management retainers start at AED 4,999 a month for a focused scope, with a Gold tier at AED 7,499 for businesses running across more channels or locations. Your ad spend is separate, paid directly to the platforms, and never marked up. There is a three-month minimum, then month to month.

Straight Answers

Food, Hospitality & Events Marketing FAQs

What is food, hospitality and events marketing in Dubai?
Food, hospitality and events marketing in Dubai is promoting restaurants, cloud kitchens, hotels, catering, events and travel businesses through channels like Google Business Profile, Instagram and Meta Ads, Google Ads, delivery platforms, booking websites and SEO, so that customers visit, book, order and enquire. It is built around real outcomes, footfall, bookings, orders and enquiries.
How do hospitality and food businesses get more customers in Dubai?
The mix depends on the business, but usually Google Business Profile and local search for venues, Instagram and Meta content and ads for appetite and awareness, delivery platform optimisation for kitchens, direct booking websites for hotels, and lead generation for catering, events and travel. Everything is tracked to real outcomes.
Do you have experience with hospitality and events in Dubai?
Yes. I run local, visual, delivery and lead-focused campaigns across Dubai consumer sectors, and have produced marketing for hospitality, events, gifting and travel businesses, so I understand footfall, bookings, orders, enquiries and how each type of food, hospitality and events business actually wins customers.
Which channels work best for food and hospitality?
For venues, Google Business Profile, local search, reviews and appetising Instagram content are the biggest levers. For kitchens, delivery platform optimisation and local delivery-radius ads. For hotels, a direct booking website plus Meta, Google and metasearch. For catering, events and travel, visual content plus lead generation and fast follow-up.
How much does food, hospitality and events marketing cost in Dubai?
Management retainers start at AED 4,999 a month, with a Gold tier at AED 7,499. Ad spend is separate and never marked up. Most food, hospitality and events businesses invest from around AED 6,000 to 30,000 a month in ad spend, depending on the sector and goals.
How quickly will a hospitality business see results?
Local and delivery marketing often show results quickly, more footfall, orders or enquiries within the first few weeks. Direct bookings, SEO and reputation build over the following months, and demand shifts with seasons, events and occasions across the sector.
Do you handle venues, delivery, and bookings?
Yes. I work with dine-in venues wanting footfall and bookings, delivery-only kitchens focused on orders, hotels driving direct bookings, and catering, events and travel businesses generating enquiries. The strategy is tuned to how your business actually earns, footfall, orders, bookings or enquiries.
Is reputation and reviews important in hospitality?
Very. Diners, guests and clients choose largely on reviews, ratings and how the business looks online. Building and managing reviews and a strong visual presence directly affects how many customers a food, hospitality or events business attracts, so it is a core part of the work.
Which food, hospitality and events sectors do you cover?
Restaurants and cafes, cloud kitchens and food delivery, hotels and hospitality, catering services, events, weddings and gifting, and travel and tourism. Each has a dedicated page explaining how its marketing works, and I can help with related hospitality and events businesses too.
Do you guarantee a number of customers or bookings?
No, and be cautious of anyone who does. Results depend on your offering, location, pricing and market. I commit to proper setup, honest optimisation toward footfall, bookings, orders and enquiries, and transparent reporting.
Do I deal with you directly or an account manager?
You deal with me directly, Mubin Shaikh. There is no account manager in between and no junior handling your account. One person plans, runs and reports on everything.
Is there a long contract or lock-in?
No long lock-in. The minimum is three months so the work has time to show results, and after that it is month to month.
How do you charge, and is ad spend included?
I charge a flat monthly management fee starting at AED 4,999. Your ad spend is separate, stays in your own accounts, and is billed directly by the platforms. I never mark up ad spend or take a percentage of it.
Why don't you take a percentage of ad spend?
Because charging a percentage creates an incentive to push your budget higher whether or not it helps. A flat fee keeps my advice honest: I recommend the spend that makes sense for you, not for my invoice.
How often will I get reports?
You get clear reporting on a regular schedule covering bookings, orders, enquiries, footfall and messages, plus what was done and what is next, in plain language rather than jargon.
How will we communicate?
Mostly WhatsApp for quick updates, plus calls and email as needed. You get a direct line to me, not a ticketing system, so questions get answered quickly.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to your relevant accounts, a short conversation about your business and the customers you want, and any existing assets like your logo and photos. I handle the technical setup from there.
What languages do you work in?
I work in English and Hindi, which covers most business communication in Dubai. Customer-facing campaigns and content can be produced in English and Arabic, with Arabic handled through trusted native support where needed.
Are you licensed to run advertising in the UAE?
Yes. Ads with Mubin holds UAE Trade Licence No. 1618922 and Social Media Advertiser Permit No. 475238, so I can issue proper invoices and legally run paid advertising in the UAE, which many informal freelancers cannot.
What happens if the marketing is not working?
If the numbers are not moving, we look at why, the offer, the landing page, the targeting or the tracking, and fix the real problem. Because there is no long lock-in, you are never trapped in something that is not delivering.
