I am Mubin Shaikh, a website design freelancer in Dubai. Website design is the work of planning, designing and building a website that loads fast, works on every device and turns visitors into enquiries, not just a good-looking page that sits there. I build for businesses across Dubai under UAE Trade Licence No. 1618922 and Social Media Advertiser Permit No. 475238. Here is the difference that matters: I come from a performance marketing background, so I do not build sites to win design awards. I build them to convert. A beautiful website that does not generate leads is an expensive brochure, and I have seen plenty of those.
Tell me about your business and what you need the site to do, and I will give you a straight view on scope and cost, whether or not you go ahead with me.
Because it is where every other channel sends people, and if it does not convert, everything upstream is wasted. You can run perfect Google Ads, Meta Ads and SEO, but they all point to one place: your website. If that page is slow, confusing on a phone, or unclear about what to do next, the traffic you paid for leaves without acting. Most businesses in Dubai spend on driving visitors and almost nothing on the page that is supposed to convert them. That is backwards. A fast, clear, conversion-focused site quietly raises the return on every dirham you spend everywhere else.
Most web designers in Dubai build something that looks nice and hand it over. I am licensed, so you get proper invoices and a real contract, but the bigger difference is that I build websites as a marketer, not just a designer.
Because I also run the ads and the SEO, I know what a page needs to actually convert traffic and rank, and I build that in from the start instead of bolting it on later. The site is built to be the hardest-working part of your funnel, not the prettiest.
Most of what I build falls into four types, and each has a different job. Here is what I take on.
Multi-page sites for service businesses, clinics, consultancies and SMEs in Dubai. Clear structure, strong calls to action, and built so a visitor always knows what to do next. The workhorse site for most businesses.
Online stores on WordPress with WooCommerce or on Shopify, built for browsing, trust and a checkout that does not lose people. Speed and mobile matter even more here, because every second of load costs sales.
Single, focused pages built to convert paid traffic from Google, Meta or TikTok. If you are running ads, the landing page is half the result, and a dedicated page almost always beats sending traffic to your homepage.
Taking a slow, dated or underperforming site and rebuilding it into something fast, modern and built to convert. Often the highest-return project, because the traffic is already there and the site is the bottleneck.
Speed, clarity, mobile experience and a single obvious next step on every page. A site converts when it loads in a couple of seconds, works perfectly on a phone, says clearly what you do and who for in the first screen, and makes the next action obvious whether that is a call, a WhatsApp message or a form. Most sites fail on at least one of these. They are slow, or they bury the contact option, or they try to say everything and so say nothing. I build the opposite: fast, clear, and pointed at the action you want. That is the part a designer who has never run a campaign tends to miss.
It is the full build: design, development, mobile, speed, SEO-readiness, content structure and a content management system you can actually use.
A design built around your brand and your customers, not a template everyone in Dubai recognises. It should look like you, and it should guide the visitor toward action.
Most of your traffic in Dubai is on a phone, so the mobile experience is designed first, not squeezed in afterward. It has to be effortless on a small screen.
Fast loading is built in, because every extra second loses visitors and hurts rankings. Speed is a feature, not an afterthought.
Clean code, proper heading structure, schema and the technical groundwork so the site can rank from day one. Because I also do SEO, this is built in properly rather than bolted on.
Clear calls to action, WhatsApp and call buttons, and forms placed where they actually get used. The whole point is turning visitors into enquiries.
Usually WordPress, set up so you can update content yourself without breaking anything or calling a developer for every change.
Usually WordPress, with Shopify for ecommerce and Webflow where a design-led site suits it, chosen to fit your business rather than my preference. WordPress is my default because it is flexible, owns its own hosting, is strong for SEO and lets you manage content yourself. For online stores, Shopify is often the cleaner path. The platform should match what you need to do, who maintains it and where you want to be in three years, and I will recommend based on that, not on what is quickest for me to build.
I build for businesses that need their website to do a job, generate enquiries, sell products, or support their ad campaigns. These are the Dubai businesses I work with most.
Clinics, consultancies, trades and local services that need a professional site which turns visitors into calls and enquiries.
Online stores that need to look trustworthy, load fast and convert browsers into buyers.
New businesses that need to launch with a credible, conversion-ready site rather than something thrown together that they have to redo in a year.
Companies already spending on Google, Meta or TikTok that are sending paid traffic to a homepage or a weak page and leaving conversions on the table.
Most underperforming websites in Dubai share the same handful of problems. This is what I look at first.
| The problem | Why it is costing you |
|---|---|
| Slow loading | Visitors leave before the page even appears |
| Poor mobile experience | Most of your traffic is on a phone and struggling |
| No clear call to action | People do not know what to do, so they do nothing |
| Contact options buried | Ready-to-buy visitors cannot reach you easily |
| Cluttered, says everything | No focus means no message lands |
| No SEO foundation | The site cannot rank, so it relies entirely on paid |
Usually two to four weeks for a standard business site, and four to eight for a larger or ecommerce build. The timeline depends on the number of pages, whether you have content and branding ready, and how many rounds of feedback we go through. A focused landing page can be done in under a week. The honest part: the thing that slows most projects down is not the build, it is waiting on content, images and decisions from your side, so the more ready you are, the faster it moves.
Every build follows the same clear stages, so you always know where things stand.
We talk through your business, your customers and what the site needs to do. I map the pages and the journey before any design happens, because building without a plan wastes everyone's time.
I design the key pages and share them for feedback. You see the look and structure before anything is built, and we refine until it is right.
I develop the approved design into a fast, mobile, SEO-ready site, with all the conversion elements and tracking in place.
We test everything, launch, and I show you how to manage it. The site goes live working properly, not as a draft you have to chase fixes on.
Not a vanity project, but an asset that works. Here is what a site built around speed, clarity and conversion actually does for you.
Website projects are priced as a one-off build, not a monthly retainer, because a website is a project with a clear start and finish.
I give you a fixed project price up front, so you know the full cost before we start, with no surprises at the end. Optional ongoing care, for hosting, updates and small changes, is available monthly if you want it, but it is never compulsory. Tell me what you need and I will quote it properly.
Site, SEO and ads, all from one person.
If your website is slow, dated, or simply not bringing in enquiries, message me on WhatsApp. Tell me about your business and what you need the site to do, and I will give you a straight view on what it would take and what it would cost, whether or not you go ahead with me.
